When he was entering the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo was compared to Kevin Durant. However, now he is considered the heir of LeBron James.

However, despite a stellar night against arguably the best player of the game, Giannis himself admitted that he still has a lot of work to do.

“I’m not on that level,” Antetokounmpo said after a 116-97 loss to James and the Cleveland Cavaliers according to ESPN. “LeBron James is one of the best players in the league, and one of the best players to ever play the game. It’s great going against him, but I don’t think about that.”

LeBron finished the night with 24 points and eight assists, he was guarded by Antetokounmpo and the “King” had only good things to say about the “Greek Freak”.

“Well, I think at the end of the day, it’s all about team success,” James said. “That’s what we all want. I’m not here to piggyback on what someone else has challenged him on. That’s for him and his teammates and the response that he had from Kobe (ed.note: who challenged him to be the MVP). But he has the skill set, he has the talent and he has a great coach that can help him get to that point.”
