Game 5 of the Montenegrin League finals was a thriller not for the faint-hearted. In the end, Buducnost managed to emerge victorious 76 – 73, make the 3 – 2 and get its hands on the trophy.

Nemanja Gordic was the ultimate protagonist for the champions. Not only did he drop a game-high 26 points but also had the necessary cold blood for a decisive 6/6 free throws during crunch time. He scored the first pair for the 70 – 64, then made it 74 – 70 and finally 76 – 73, the final score.

Antabia Walker (12 points), who had hit consecutive 3-pointers to keep his team close, between Gordic’s sessions from the line, missed the shot to tie the match and the title went to Buducnost hands for 11th season in a row.
