Zalgiris Kaunas took over Dzukija once again in Game 3 of the Lithuanian League quarterfinals and prevailed 90-46 in Kaunas.
Antanas Kavaliauskas was the leading scorer of the winners with 14 points, while Augusto Lima and Renaldas Seibutis dropped 10 points each.
With a much better start than the previous 2 games, Zalgiris led the first period 26-12, while Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team still had the upper hand by 49-24 at halftime, making it a one-way traffic game from early on.
By the end of the third period, the hosts were ahead by 40 (!) points, making it impossible for the team from Alytus to counterattack.
