Zalgiris got the win in Vilnius against Lietuvos Rytas and the atmosphere in Siemens Arena was tense after the game.

Linas Kleiza, Rytas’ Vice President, reportedly entered the referees’ lockers in a fury, making remarks about the three refs of the game, Tomas Jasevicius, Jurgis Laurinavicius and Juozas Barkauskas.

When asked about the reason behind his reaction, Kleiza stated: “You don’t even have to watch the game. How is it even possible for Zalgiris to have shot 29 free throws, while Rytas only shot 13?”

He doesn’t seem to be bothered by a possible fine about his action, though: “The penalty is not the problem. The league has to respect us, not count us out”.
