After winning third place in the Basketball Champions League Final Four, Monaco returned to its French League obligations with a victory over Paris Levallois that sealed first place in the regular season.

Monaco improved its French League record to 27 – 3 after beating sixth Paris Levallois (19-11) 91 – 85 on the road behind Brandon Davies’ 20 points plus 6 rebounds.

Thanks to this result, the Monegasques mathematically sealed the first berth in the standings at the end of the regular season and the home-court advantage for the entirety of the playoffs.

This game concluded Week 30 in the French Pro A where seventh Le Portel (16-14)  defending champs Villeurbanne (16-15) and Limoges (15-15) took important victories that keeps the playoff race heated. The latter also pushed Pau/Orthez (20-10) to the fourth spot.

Second Chalone/Saone (23-7) beat Orleans (8-22) and third Nanterre (21-9) downed Strasbourg (20-10).
