Le Mans had an easy night against Limoges while Monaco suffered its sixth defeat in the ProA this season.
The former French league leaders had a great offensive third quarter (25 – 36) and they took a 12-point lead. Gravelines Dunkerque reacted in style in the last quarter with a 35 – 16 run to complete one of the most amazing comebacks of the year with the final result 101 – 94.
Chris Johnson paced Dunkerque with 28 points while JR Reynolds contributed with 10 points and 14 dimes.
Meanwhile, Le Mans had a comfortable victory over Limoges 89 – 65. The hosts had a breakout start (33 – 16) that was decisive and they only had to keep the advantage until the end. Le Mans remains one game behind Monaco in the LNB standings.
DJ Stephens led all scorers with 22 points. Justin Cobbs added 17 and 6 assists while Youssoupha Fall contributed to the victory with a double-double (10 p. 13 r.).
Over the weekend, Boris Diaw helped Levallois in their win over Reims.
