With no games this weekend for the three teams that compete in the EuroLeague playoffs, Besiktas was the big winner of the 27th round in the Turkish BSL.

The team of coach Ufuk Sarica beat Gaziantep on the road (67-59) with Kyle Weems (13 p.) leading a balanced offensive effort. They winners returned to the second spot of the standings with a 22-5 record, at least for the moment, since Anadolu Efes has also 22 wins, but has played one game less.

Fenerbahce is still on the top (24-2) and Galatasaray is sixth with a 17-10 record after beating Karsiyaka on Saturday.
