Tofas couldn’t spoil Fenerbahce’s party

In a game which was also part celebration for winning the EuroLeague title and started with the cup being on the center of Ulker Arena, a video tribute to the champs and their banner placed in the rafters, Fenerbahce got the win in Game 1 over Tofas.

The final score was 92-76 as Kostas Sloukas with 13 points led a balanced effort with four more players scoring in double digits.

Despite a good first period by Tofas, Fenerbahce managed to lead by 13 points (44-31) and the first half ended with the guests trailing by seven (43-37) after a buzzer beating three by Yigit Arslan.

While Fenerbahce didn’t lose the lead, Tofas managed to stay close and at the end of the third period the score was 64-60 in favor of the hosts. However the last quarter started with a 8-0 run and the game was over.  Before the game, the EuroLeague champs raised the banner of their title, the first ever for a Turkish club.
