Playing without Jan Vesely, Nikola Kalinic, Bobby Dixon and James Nunally due to injuries and also due to the restrictions for non Turkish players in BSL, the champs led even by 26 points (67-41) at the start of the last quarter and got the easy 80-63 win.

Jason Thompson with 16 points and 8 rebounds was impressive in his official debut with Fenerbahce. Kostas Sloukas with 11 points and 4 assists had also a good game. Gigi Datome scored 12 points, Nicolo Melli added 10 points and thanks to a balanced effort the players of coach Obradovic dominated the game.

For the losing side, Jakob Odum  scored 24 points, 15 of them in the first half, when Banvit was trailing just by eight points at half time (44-36).

This was the 40th straight home win for Fenerbahce in the Turkish BSL league.
