The final score was 84-80 and it was sealed by two free throws made by McCollum. In total he had 29 points, leading the charge for Efes. Fenerbahce which was trailing by 13 points for most of the second half managed to make it a one point game (76-75) with two minutes left.

That’s when Bryant Dunston with a big stop over Bradley Wanamaker and two buckets gave to Efes a five points lead again (80-75). This lead proved to be enough. Dunston finished the game with 10 points and 6 rebounds.

Wanamaker with 20 points in total pushed his team to the comeback, which was never completed. Melih Mahmutoglu scored 16 points and Jan Vesely had 13 and 9 rebounds for the losing side. Both teams are considered the main title contenders in the Turkish league, however they are not tied with a 1-1 record after the first two gamedays.
