Galatasaray beat Karsiyaka on the road 91-75 thanks to a splendid Alex Renfroe who had a double-double display of 12 points and 13 assists.
The home team had initially taken the lead at halftime (43-41) but that wasn’t enough. The “Cimbom” put some rock-solid defense on the floor afterward and that proved to be crucial.
Coach Kunter‘s players allowed just 11 points that period while scoring 25, setting the foundations of victory.
Galata’s bigs deserve to be mention as well. Richard Hendrix and Dajuan Summers scored 17 points each, making great use Renfroe‘s great passes.
