Krunoslav Simon’s intervention in the very last seconds gave Anadolu Efes the second victory in the season.

With two seconds remaining Krunoslav Sumon hit the go-ahead, game-winning basket and Anadolu Efes beat Eskisehir 86 – 84 on the road for Round 3 of the Turkish Basketball Super League.

The Croatian wing finished the game with 14 points and six assists. Brock Motum dropped a game-high 19 points plus seven rebounds while Bryant Dunston added 15 points and six rebounds.

Josh Adams also scored 10 of his 12 points in the fourth period, being among the main figures of Efes‘ victory.

For Eskisehir, Sean Marshall had 18 points while Jeff Ayres finished with double figures in points (11) and rebounds (11). Earl Rowland flirted with the double-double after nine points and 11 assists.

On Sunday (22/10), defending champion Fenerbahce defeated Gaziantep behind an impressive second half. Galatasaray also improved its record to 2-1 after taking quite the road victory over Pinar Karsiyaka thanks to a super Alex Renfroe.
