Fenerbahce smashed Trabzonspor 119 – 90 in a game that was interrupted for more than 50 minutes.

Trabzonspor was in charge of the game most of the time until the incident happened. With less than 5 minutes left in the second quarter, the referees decide to interrupt the game after ejecting Chris Obekpa and forcing the fans to leave the arena. On top of that, Melih Mahmutoglu was sent to the locker room after an unsportsmanlike foul.

When the game continued, Fenerbahce went into a 20 – 11 run (55 – 48 at the half). Nothing changed in the third quarter and the guests continued dropping baskets easily. Fenerbahce had no mercy as they scored at least 30 points in each of the last three quarters.

The visitors had 6 players scoring double-figures. James Nunnally led the winners in scoring with 19 points and also had 8 assists. Egehan Arna and Jan Vesely scored 18 points each while Jason Thompson contributed with 15.

Osiris Eldridge led Trabzonspor with 21 points. The hosts fell to a 3-6 record while Zeljko Obradovic‘s team improved to 7-2 in BSL.
