Besiktas sealed the win with Diebler in the final seconds of the game, grabbing a 67-64 victory over Velimir Perasovic‘s squad.
The key: Efes tried to change the momentum of the game by the end of the second period, yet Besiktas held back and led 52-49. Even when the margin was narrow, the hosts didn’t lose control of the game.
DJ Strawberry and Ryan Boatright paced Besiktas to the victory, with 14 and 15 points each.
For Efes, Errick McCollum‘s 21-point performance wasn’t enough to save the day.
Earlier today, Fenerbahce grabbed the victory over Trabzonspor after a tense game which was interrupted.
