With Simon scoring 29 points, Efes ended up getting an easy 90-76 win. The Croatian forward also dished six assists, while Errick McCollum and Zoran Dragic added 14 points each for the team of coach Ergin Ataman.

Defense was the name of the game and Scotty Wilbekin led all Darussafaka scorers with 17 points. However, nobody could make a difference for the team of coach David Blatt after a bad first period.

Anadolu Efes started the game with a 26-11 first quarter, kept a ten-point lead by the end of the first half (38-28) and never looked back after that. Darussafaka cut the lead of Efes to nine points (78-69) with three minutes left, but Simon’s immediate answer was a key three-pointer.
