Besiktas Sompo Japan won the first three quarters of the game against Istanbul BBSK and went home with a 69-56 win on Day 22 of Turkish League.

The deciding factors in this game were the great defensive effort from Besiktas and terrible three-point shooting of Istanbul BBSK. They were 0/14 from behind the arc in 30 minutes, not hitting their first 3-pointer until the fourth period (2/24 overall). That was the reason behind the guest’s 53-36 lead with 10 minutes left which they had no trouble keeping until the end.

Joshua Adams and DJ Strawberry led the victors with 13 points each. On the other side, Eric Buckner scored a game-high 19 points while Jaka Klobucar helped with 12 points, 8 assists and 6 boards.

Besiktas took the third place after this win with a 15-7 record while Istanbul BBSK is one step away from the playoffs with 9-13.
