Panathinaikos is one of the EuroLeague powerhouses, but since 2012 and the last Final Four in which the Greens have participated, they are still trying to get back to their glory days without real success.

Back on the 20th of April 2015, the Greens beat CSKA Moscow 86-85 after a dramatic game at OAKA to cut the lead of “Army Team” to 2-1 in the playoffs series.

CSKA Moscow won the next game and qualified to the Madrid Final Four. Last year Panathinaikos faced Baskonia which beat the Greens with a 3-0 sweep.

After losing twice to Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos has six straight defeats in the EuroLeague playoffs and they are one step away from being eliminated.

With that been said, Panathinaikos is the first team that was beaten twice at home in Game 1 and 2 of the playoffs and no team has ever come back from 0-2.
