As “Gigantes Del Baloncesto” reports that Latvian forward prefers an offer which will make him the starting small forward of Baskonia, replacing Adam Hanga who is expected to leave the team.

According to the report, Real Madrid is also interested on the player, but Timma prefers a three year deal with Baskonia, which will also include multiple NBA out clauses, since the player’s NBA rights belong to Orlando and his ultimate goal is to play in the US.

Currently Timma, as a member of Zenit, finished the regular season of the VTB United League in the second place and will try to challenge CSKA Moscow, or at least get a ticket to EuroLeague as the second best team of the league.
