Khimki prevailed over Parma on the road, 87-83, improving to a 16-3 record in the league. Parma still remains the only team without a win after 17 games in the VTB league.
As always, Alexey Shved shinned with nearly a triple-double performance of 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
The hosts kept the upper hand in the beginning of the game, leading 18-17 at 10′, then it was the visitors’ turn to drop a few threes and turn the game in their favor at halftime, 35-46.
Parma, that desperately needed its first win, put on a fight in the second half and pierced through Khimki’s defense, yet the class of the visitors helped them outlast the battle.
Maxsim Dybovskii scored 19 points and was the leading scorer of the hosts.
