According to Russian reports the team – after parting ways with coach Pashutin – has a short list of coaches which include Ainars Bagatskis, Brose Bamberg‘s Andrea Trinchieri, Crvena Zvezda‘s Dejan Radonjic and Barcelona’s Giorgos Bartzokas.
With Unics not being a lock next season not even for the Eurocup, it’s highly questionable if those three coaches will be available and interested for the job with Ainars Bagatskis being the most likely candidate at this point, after leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Trinchieri’s contract with Brose Bamberg also ends this summer but the German club wants to keep him, while Bartzokas still has a contract for next season with Barcelona.
