A 9-0 run in the three final minutes helped Unics Kazan repel Avtodor Saratov at home and win 89 – 82 to remain perfect in VTB League with a 5-0 record.

The one responsible for what could’ve been a major upset was a former Unics player: Coty Clarke, who finished with a game-high 29 points and six rebounds. They weren’t enough for Saratov though that sustained its third defeat in five games.

A dominant Trent Lockett paced Unics with his double-double consisted of 16 points/11 rebounds for a game-high 28 PIR while Quino Colom had 17 points plus eight assists.

Stephane Lasme added 14 points and Jamar Smith 13 for the winners.
