Eurohoops chooses the match of the week, lists the full schedule of both days and stands out things you need to know about Euroleague’s seventh round.

Euroleague’s seventh round includes seven matches on Thursday and five on Friday and is a milestone and chance of rescue for many teams! For instance, Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Emporio Armani Milano are on the brink of elimination and they both find themselves in a must-win situation this week. Also, on Thursday Olympiacos face off against Laboral Kutxa, with the two teams being in the top two spots in group B, while Panathinaikos play against Karsiyaka in a ‘do or die’ match for both squads. In Eurohoops’ Game Center, you can see the stats for players and teams and any other information you need.

Game of the week: Karsiyaka vs Panathinaikos

November 27 CET: 18.45 (Karsiyaka Arena)

It’s a crucial game for both teams, based on what has happened in group C so far. Both teams have a 2-4 record and the result on Friday will determine their possibilities to qualify to the next round. Karsiyaka is not in good form and is coming from back-to-back defeats. As a matter of fact, they conceded 211 points from Barcelona and Fenerbahce, although their strong defence and control of the rhythm are supposed to be their advantages.

Panathinaikos is one of the best teams in steals and assists (second place in the competition), whereas is the worst team in rebounds (30.8) and turnovers (16.3). The squad is also unstable and without victory on the road. The winner of the match will increase their chances to qualify, with a 3-4 record, whereas the loser will come closer to elimination, having a 2-5 record, with three matches to go. The Greens have a 12-point advantage after the first match (85-73)
