From the beginning of the season Ioannis Bourousis has only had a short period of three weeks when he was out of form. Othello Hunter, on the other side, is essentially Olympiacos’s only center and has been very good lately. Both are worth your attention in fantasy.

The frontline is usually the most steady line in the Euroleague’s fantasy challenge, but last week all four of the Eurohoops team’s big men had a rating less than 10, so the time has come for some sweeping changes.

Felipe Reyes is injured so he will necessarily stay out. Gustavo Ayon has had several ups and downs in his performance and it’s better to go with someone else in his place. The last player to depart will be Derrick Brown, who is going to be tested in OAKA against Panathinaikos. The “greens” are a team that really restrict the opponent big men, Gist can match him up well enough, but Brown has been shooting less and less as of late so we are going to turn elsewhere.

Vesely always has games with good stats and since Malaga aren’t going to have Hendrix on their roster, we are going to acquire Ekpe Udoh to be on his side. Two players from the same team and the same position is always a risk, but Vesely and Udoh can be as effective as the Teodosic-De Colo duo along the perimeter.

However, the addition that stands out is the one of Ioannis Bourousis. Throughout the whole season the Greek center has had only two bad games with a single-digit rating in a total of 16 games! Bamberg didn’t have a player of his caliber in order to contain him and Bourousis is probably going to have another big game.

Finally, Othello Hunter is essentially Olympiacos’s only center, since Milutinov is clearly supplementary and gets very few playing minutes, while the position is also covered by Printezis. CSKA though, have several big bodies and the “red-and-whites” probably aren’t going to use short line-ups. In all their last games however, the Muscovites have at least one big man with a high evaluation rating (Jankunas 16, Melli 17, Bourousis 30 and Shengelia 17, Doellman 19, Ayon 23, Augustine 18). So, Hunter is affordable and can still make the difference if he plays in Moscow.

Enjoy fantasy!
