A tremendous performance in the second quarter (25-12) led Lokomotiv Kuban to an easy win against Darussafaka at home (82-58). This was the fifth win for the Russians in group E (5-2), whereas the Turks suffered their sixth defeat (1-6).

For the winners, five players scored in double figures, with Anthony Randolph having 18 points, on 8 of 13 shooting. On the other hand, Scottie Wilbekin scored 19 points for the losing squad.

In the beginning, the match was close (9-7, 15-11), as the first quarter ended with the hosts in front by three (19-16). Later, although the visitors managed to remain competitive for a while (31-26), Giorgos Bartzokas’ team went on a 13-2 run to close the first half with a 16-point advantage (44-28).

In the second half, Lokomotiv continued to have complete control of the game and extended their lead to 26 points (57-31), having a 20-point advantage, after 30 minutes in the game (60-40).

In the fourth quarter, Darussafaka tried to make a come-back and went on a 10-1 run to cut the deficit to 11 points (61-50). However, the Russians stood tall, retained their double-digit lead (75-54) and earned an easy victory at home.
