Ten days..

The guards on the city walls of Vitoria are waiting for the night to pass. And Bourousis can’t sleep. “Ten days, you said”… This is all there’s on his mind since our lord and savior year of 2009 A.C., when he was beating at Berlin and couldn’t take revenge. The Green banner was once again on the top and the fate of Bourousis was sealed. Exile from Piraeus to Italy and then to Spain, exile from Madrid, after winning his place on the table with the rest of the defenders of the crown.

“Ten days, you said”… The voices are mocking him. In front of everyone he swore revenge just after ten days in the Greek battlefields and the fate gives him one more chance against Duke Diamantidis and the final destination is – what an irony! – Berlin again! He already done more than he was expected. Very few managed to left Vitoria with a win against a small and desperate army, which has managed many more than others, stronger and richer…

However, the voice is still there. “Ten days, you said…”. This time in ten days he will know if his time for revenge has finally come…

The ballad of Delaney

Who would expect that a sword for hire would become a hero? That he would start from lowlife in order to became a leader, capable of beating armies with a single blow…

Sir Malcolm has an obscure past, but his ability and thirst for battle very fast put him apart from the rest of the mercenaries. When he decided to leave central Europe for Krasnodar, he was accused for being a coward. He didn’t need to hear anything else. Under the command of lord Barzokas, who were the crown for 12 whole months under the Red and White banner from Piraeus, Delaney wants to achieve the unthinkable. With an army that was non existant a few winters ago, he want to be the last man standing in the war.

He looks at the sea and sees the Red and Blue sails coming. This is the moment he was wanting for his whole life and the time is upon him. He knows he should be the first to enter the battlefield. And remain there until the end…
