Although he was playing very badly during the game, Courtney Lee hit a big three-pointer, with 25 seconds to go, and gave the Charlotte Hornets the win against the Miami Heat (90-88).

Dwyane Wade tried to tie the game, however he missed the shot and Charlotte now is only one win away from advancing to the semi-finals.

The American guard, who scored 25 points for Miami, said afterwards: “There is no need for an instant replay, it was a foul.” Luol Deng also did his best for the losing squad with 16 points.

On the other hand, Lee had only eight points, with Marvin Williams adding 17 (on 7 of 10 shooting) and Kemba Walker 14 (on 4/18 shooting), respectively.

It’s also worth mentioning that it’s the first time since 2002 that Charlotte has the lead in a best-of-seven series, so what remains to be seen is whether they will secure their qualification to the semi-finals on Friday night.
