The NBA coaching carousel is coming to an end in the NBA with the Rockets finalizing a deal to make Mike D’Antoni their next head coach, according to multiple sources

The NBA coaching carousel is coming to an end in the NBA with the Rockets finalizing a deal to make Mike D’Antoni their next head coach, according to multiple sources.

The Italian-American has been a head coach with the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers. He is currently an assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers.

With D’Antoni in the Rockets, coach David Fidzale leavig Miami for Memphis and Jeff Hornacek as the new coach of the Knicks ready to be announced, former Cavs coach David Blatt and Spurs assistant Ettore Messina will have to wait in order to get an head coaching job in the NBA. There are no other oppenings left, as Dave Joerger is the new coach of Sacramento, Luke Walton is the chosen one of the Lakers, Frank Vogel got the job in Orlando, Nate McMillan replaced him in Indiana, Kenny Atkinson was hired in Brooklyn, Tom Thibodeau returns to action for Minessota and Scott Brooks will lead Washington. In total, one third of the NBA had a coaching change.
