Anadolu Efes announced today the hiring of coach Velimir Perasovic who left Baskonia after one of the best season’s in the Spanish club’s recent history for Turkey

Anadolu Efes announced today the hiring of coach Velimir Perasovic who left Baskonia after one of the best season’s in the Spanish club’s recent history for Turkey.

Born in 1965, Perasovic has signed a two year deal and he return to the club in which he spend the 2010-11. He has also been the coach of KK Split, Sevilla, Estudiantes, Cibona Zagreb and Valencia. He has also been the head coach of the Croatian national team and he has won the 2014 Eurocup with Valencia, two Croatian championship titles in 2009 and 2010 with Cibona, a Spanish Cup in 2006 with Baskonia – then named Tau Ceramica – and also the Croatian Cup ahain with Cibona in 2009.

As the head coach of Anadolu Efes, he has won the President’s Cup of 2010.
