Manu Markoishvili left the green jersey of Dogus Darussafaka and he may end up wearing Panathinaikos‘ green. The Georgian small forward has been offered to the Greek club and his case is more than interesting for PAO.

Panathinaikos has already filled the roster spots of non European players (Gist, James, Singleton, Feldeine) and can sign two more non Greek but EU players. The team needs one more point guard and a small forward who can shoot. That’s why Markoishvili is a better fit, compared to Victor Claver who was rumored to be a target for the team.

The 30 years old Georgian swingman who has experience in the highest level can be an asset for Panathinaikos, which doesn’t have any small forward in its roster at the moment. The two sides are currently negotiating and the player has more than good chances to be signed. The news were first reported by SDNA.gr.
