The second semifinal of the “Gomelsky Cup” tournament saw CSKA Moscow beating Unics Kazan 83 – 75, mainly thanks to a strong second half output. They will face Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final, which had already defeated Panathinaikos.

Unics entered the match in an explosive manner, firing from all corners yet their opponents caught up with them and never looked back after obtaining the lead.

Nando De Colo was (again) the top scorer of the reigning Euroleague champs with 19 points. Vitaly Fridzon had 10 while Dmitry Kulagin and Andrei Vorontsevich added 10 each.

Artsiom Parakhouski was the best that Unics had to offer, finishing the game dropping 17 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Quino Colom scored 13 points and 6 assists.
