Joan Plaza spoke about Unicaja‘s plans for this season and the game in Madrid tomorrow during a press conference.

The coach highlighted that Unicaja as a team is “conscious of their limitations”, but they are looking for a win in Madrid. “We are going to Madrid to win, as to any other court in Spain or Europe.”

“Real has made good signings, Randolph was the best or one of the best of Europe the last season. It’s a team made to succeed.”

Unicaja has made some important additions over the summer, including Hamady N’Diaye. “The team is near the idea that we had before it was structured. We have two players or more for each position”.

Plaza also spoke for the newest additions. “N’Diaye’s papers are being processed and the problem is expected to be resolved. Waczynski is putting a lot of effort to learn and adapt to the role we want him to play.”
