VTB League November MVP Alexey Shved scored 25 points and Jacob Pullen added 14 along with 5 assists to lead Khimki Moscow in a crushing 102 – 70 victory against Avtodor Saratov.

This was the sixth win for the winning squad while the team from Saratov has fallen to a 1-7 record, the second worst in the championship.

It was as easy as the final score shows, since Khimki made sure to finish the job rather early. Coach Ivanovic’s players dropped buckets comfortably, while their opponents struggled through some “blackout” periods, hence the 29 – 16 at the end of the first quarter.

The hosts’ offense continued working to near perfect levels, as they reached halftime with a lead of 19, 54 – 35. Khimki kept attacking with the same fluency, while Avtodor didn’t manage to appear competitive for the remainder of the match.

Apart from Shved and Pullen, Russian forward Viacheslav Zaitchev had an all-around contribution of 13 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists, while for Saratov, Nick Minnerath was the only player scoring in double-digit numbers, finishing the game with 22 points.
