The first three teams of the standings in the French Pro A League lost ground in GameDay 11 and this gave a great opportunity for other teams to get closer to the top.

Monaco (9-2)  was leading 47 – 38 at halftime against Paris Levallois (6-5) and perhaps thought that the game was… over. So their opponents took advantage of this, dropping 60 (!) points during the second and third period to not only come back in the match but ultimately win rather comfortably.

Still, this result keeps Monaco at the top since both teams that could have climbed at the first place also lost! Nanterre (8-3) was downed by Strasbourg (6-5) at home and Chalon Saone (8-3) fell to Gravelines Dunkerque (5-6).

Meanwhile, Pau Orthez (8-3) did its job vs Chalon-Reims (5-6) and moved to the second place to join Nanterre and Chalon Saone in the three-way tie that was created.
