Kevin Jones dropped 22 points and 5 rebounds, Matt Janning added 20 and 6 assists as Lokomotiv Kuban beat Hapoel Jerusalem 88 – 68 in Krasnodar.

This victory improved Loko’s record to 3-4 while Hapoel now stands at 4-3 with one GameDay left for the end of Eurocup’s regular season.

The Russian team was superior right from the beginning getting off to a 20 – 13 start. Only Amare Stoudemire looked strong for Hapoel during that period, when he scored 8 out of his 16 points, making a new Eurocup season-high and tying his overall personal best in all competitions this year.

Even though the Israelis reacted offensively, dropping 22 points in the second quarter, as many as their opponents, the hosts dominated most of the third period establishing a double-digit lead thanks to a 15 – 2 run and had no problem for the remainder of the match.

Ian Vougioukas added 14 points for the winning side, while Curtisl Jerrels paced Hapoel with 17.
