Crvena Zvezda struggled but managed to beat Cedevita in Zagrab with 91-95 and still remains undefeated after 15 games in the ABA league this season, while the Croatian team fell to a 10-5 record.

Led by Marko Simonovic’s 27 points and Ognjen Kuzmic’s 20, the visitors eventually managed to prevail in a tough clash. Charles Jenkins had 16 points, Nemanja Dangubic scored 13, while Stefan Jovic had 10 and 7 assists.

For Cedevita, Ryan Boatright scored 30 points and handed out 5 assists, while teammate John Shurna added 16.

After getting a 22-13 lead after the first 10 minutes, Cedevita was willing to challenge the visiting team until the end and so they did. The Red and Whites improved their shooting in the second period and managed to get a 5-point lead at halftime, 33-38.

Zvezda was up by 8 with less than a minute to go. The hosts trimmed the deficit, then Boatright hit a big three pointer with just a few seconds remaining on the shotclock. A pair of free throws by Simonovic then sealed the game for the Serbian team.
