It was not an easy night for EA7 Emporio Armani Milano, but despite its injury woes the Italian champs got the 85-79 win over Cantu. The hosts tried their best, got 20 points by Jajuan Johnson and 19 by Pat Calathes, but in the end couldn’t close the game the right way

It was not an easy night for EA7 Emporio Armani Milano, but despite its injury woes the Italian champs got the 85-79 win over Cantu. The hosts tried their best, got 20 points by Jajuan Johnson and 19 by Pat Calathes, but in the end couldn’t close the game the right way.

Cantu had a 45-41 half time lead, Milano answered with a 28-10 partial score in the third quarter (69-55) and despite the effort of the hosts to get back in the game, they couldn’t cut Milano’s lead to less than five points (84-75). Krunoslav Simon with 26 points was the top scorer of the winners and Milan Macvan added 14 points.

Milano leads the standings with a 13-2 record, over the duo of Venezia and Avellino which are tied at 11-4.
