Schroder drops 28 in Hawks’ narrow victory over Knicks

With 28 points plus the game-winning downtown basket, Dennis Schroder helped the Atlanta Hawks beat the New York Knicks 108 – 107.

The German guard finished the match with an excellent 13/16 from the field and also added 3 assists plus 3 rebounds in his team’s win.

Mindaugas Kuzminskas had a solid game of 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals for the Kristaps Porzingis-less Knicks but his team failed to deliver in the end, losing three attempts to change the outcome.

Joakim Noah finished the match with 7 points while Willy Hernangomez and Sasa Vujasic didn’t play. Carmelo Anthony was the top performer of the Knicks with 30 points and 7 rebounds.

For the Hawks, Thabo Shefolosha had 3 points and 4 rebounds while former All-Euroleague selection Malcolm Delaney added 5 points, 5 assists and 2 steals.
