Milos Teodosic once again expressed his ambition to play in the NBA while commenting that CSKA Moscow, his current team, has the upper hand when it comes to talks of a new deal.

When the EuroLeague superstar was asked about joining the NBA, he said, “I’ll go there for sure,” in an interview for Serbian website Mozzart Sport. “But I don’t know when, for which team and under what conditions. We’ll see. My contract with CSKA Moscow is until 2017, so we’ll see. They certainly have an advantage in negotiations for a new contract.

Receiving a possible lucrative offer might not be enough for 2016 EuroLeague champion and Olympic Games silver medalist. The Serbian guard wants to be a part of the best league in the planet only if he gets sufficient time on the floor. “I don’t like the bench and I wouldn’t agree in any contract if I have to sit on the bench. That’s my condition for going to the NBA.”

These words echo what Teodosic has written in his official blog for Eurohoops. Milos has mentioned that, “I want to go to the NBA and I know that I can establish myself there and really contribute. I will not sign anywhere just to be able to say that I played in the NBA. I need the whole package that will excite me. So it depends on what offers I get as a free agent and the way the teams approach and talk to me.”
