Lokomotiv reached a deal with 20-year old swingman Alexey Zherdev. He last played for Dynamo Cheliabinsk in the Superleague 2. In 38 games he averaged 11.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game last season.
The previous season, Zherdev played for Dynamo Moscow’s second team (U23 League) where in 30 games he averaged 12.2 points and 4.0 rebounds.
He is a Russian international and played in the U18 European Championships in Konya two years ago.
