Although the second quarterfinal wasn’t exactly a walk through the park for CSKA Moscow against Nymburk, the Russian team managed to win the game 79 – 72 and make the 2-0 in the series.

Kyle Hines’ double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds was of immense important for CSKA Moscow. while Cory Higgins added 16 points with solid shooting (5/8 from the field).

For Nymburk Maxine De Zeeuw was the top performer with 10 points plus 9 rebounds.

The guests stunned their opponents, finishing the first quarter with a double-digit lead, 15 – 25 but CSKA Moscow gained the upper hand a bit before halftime and the two teams went to the locker rooms with the score 39 – 38.

After a close third period, in its majority, CSKA got an eight-point lead, 63 – 55, two minutes into the fourth quarter and managed to retain a small, albeit good enough control of the match until the end.
