Eurohoops Academy, the model basketball academy with European basketball legend Thodoris Papaloukas as its ambassador, focuses on the holistic development of young athletes, based on know-how and a pedagogical approach. The training program focuses on the evolutionary path of each athlete individually — from their first steps in the sport to the competitive level. Through the values of respect, cooperation and continuous effort, it shapes well-rounded personalities, valuable teammates and, ultimately, better people.
In recent years, Eurohoops Academy has established itself as one of the most rising forces in developmental basketball in Greece, recording significant competitive successes and highlighting dozens of athletes through the staffing of the development program of the Hellenic Basketball Federation.

Our Philosophy
Guided by the philosophy of Thodoris Papaloukas and the principles of modern developmental basketball, Eurohoops Academy offers a comprehensive development environment, where technical training is combined with the learning of sports culture. Its primary goal is the development of complete personalities, with the ultimate goal of developing young athletes into future protagonists of the court. The athlete is always at the center as a separate unit of development, through continuous guidance, evaluation and support of his progress at every stage.
The Elite Coaching Staff
The Eurohoops Academy coaching team is comprised of experienced professionals with expertise in developmental basketball and a passion for teaching the fundamentals of the sport. The strategic planning of the new era, led by Technical Director, Konstantinos Meletis, and Technical Manager, Evripidis Papaioannou, has delivered tangible results.
Comprehensive Training Framework
The Eurohoops Academy training program is based on a coherent and evolving training framework, allowing athletes to develop gradually and consistently.

Structured individual development plan
Each athlete is treated as a unique development unit, with continuous monitoring of their progress, tailored coaching guidance and positive role models. The progress of the competitive teams in championships and tournaments in Athens, as well as the rest of Greece, confirms the dynamics of competitive upgrading. At the same time, the infrastructure departments, applying the principles of Mini Basketball, have helped dozens of children to love the sport and develop through it — and this is the most important trophy for Eurohoops Academy.
Enriched innovative training program
The training program is not limited to the basic training hours, but also includes innovative training programs – the Skills Development Labs and the Strength & Conditioning Labs. In separate groups, specialized training sessions for improving individual technique and strengthening and athletic development programs are implemented, which are designed based on the age and individual needs of each athlete and function as a complement to the basic training plan. The goal is to systematically strengthen the skills and physical condition of the children.
Modern Facilities
Eurohoops Academy is based in the sports facilities of Arsakeia – Tositsia Schools of Ekali, which are constantly being upgraded. The facilities include three modern, multi-purpose courts (Court 1, Court 2, Court 3), air-conditioned and designed to adapt to the needs of every age and level. Court 1 and Court 2 have numerous adjustable basketball hoops for simultaneous use by multiple groups and modern locker rooms. Court 3 is a specially designed area, with adjustable basketball hoops of lower height, exclusively for younger ages.
Latest Technology Equipment
Strategically integrated into the training process, technology is a valuable “teammate” in the development of children. Eurohoops Academy has state-of-the-art Dr. Dish Shooting Machines and a Hiveact reaction training system.
