With only one loss in the last 11 games between the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and AdmiralBet ABA League, Partizan Mozzart Bet went into a frenzy Monday.
Legendary tactician Zeljko Obradovic guided his side to a total of 120 points, a new team record in ABA. Naturally, Partizan comfortably grabbed the win, 120-67, against MZT Skopje Aerodrom.
Making the most of the regional league’s Regular Season Round 15, Alen Smailagic improved his personal best for the 2022-23 season to 24 points. The former big of the Golden State Warriors netted 9/12 from the field, including one triple. He also pulled down seven rebounds lasting just over 23 minutes.
Aleksa Avramovic tallied 18 points and nine assists for the contest hosted in Belgrade’s Stark Arena. Yam Madar with 14 points and Tristan Vukcevic with 13 points shaped the remaining double-digit scoring efforts. All 12 available players put up at least three points. Missing the lineup, Balsa Koprivica has yet to recover from illness.
For the visiting side, Damjan Stojanovski recorded a team-high 16 points. Mike Caffey had 14 points.
Earlier on the Round 15 schedule, Crvena Zvezda Merdiantbet routed Buducnost VOLI.
