Serbian club Mega Basket has had 17 players drafted to the NBA, including three-time MVP Nikola Jokić.
The Belgrade-based team has now officially added top Italian prospect Luigi Suigo from Olimpia Milano.
The 18-year-old, 220-centimeter-tall center was one of the standouts at the EuroLeague Next Generation Finals in Abu Dhabi, averaging 14.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in four appearances.
He previously represented Olimpia Milano at two EuroLeague Next Generation Qualifiers, as well as at the Berlin Finals in 2024. The 18-year-old, often called “the Italian unicorn,” also won two youth national titles in Italy and two LBA Next Gen Cups with Olimpia Milano.
Suigo’s impressive CV also boasts national team experience, as he played for Italy at the U18 EuroBasket and U17 World Cup in 2024, and participated in Basketball Without Borders camps in both 2024 and 2025.
