Boban Marjanovic is the new member of Ilirija, as confirmed on the ABA League website, where this Slovenian club competes.

What was speculated in the past few days has now been confirmed, and the Serbian basketball player has become a new member of Ilirija, which is in the ABA League this season.

The club, backed by the Doncic family, continues to make impressive moves, and there is a possibility that Marjanovic might debut as soon as this weekend when Ilirija plays against Buducnost.

Former Serbian national team player began his career at Hemofarm, from where he moved to CSKA Moscow, and then on loan to Zalgiris. He then played for Nizhny Novgorod, Radnicki Kragujevac, and Mega, before having his best seasons with Crvena Zvezda, where he was selected for the EuroLeague first team.

This was followed by his move to the NBA, where he played for San Antonio, Detroit, the LA Clippers, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Houston. The 37-year-old Marjanovic started the last season with Fenerbahce, and at the beginning of January 2025 he moved to Zhejiang.
