The former NBA player wanted to return to action in Europe after three years of absence and had even been announced by Zadar, though the contract failed.

According to sources close to the situation, Zadar points out that upon his arrival to Croatia, Davis demanded even more money than the two sides have agreed on, while the player was allegedly disappointed with the city of Zadar, thus tried to win a bigger contract that the team denied.

While Zadar was playing against Cedevita in the ABA League earlier this Saturday, Davis remained at his hotel room, confirming that he will not step inside the court for the club.
