Barcelona’s Nikola Mirotic landed this season’s big honor, winning the MVP award as ACB announced Saturday. The 29-year-old power forward made his European return with the Blaugranas to win the MVP honor in Spain for the second time in his career (first was in 2013 with Real Madrid).

“You can see it in my face, in my smile. It was a good surprise, it brightened my day. The MVP award for me means a collective work of the team. This award goes to all my teammates who have helped me to be better every day. Each game has helped me to feel good. And of course to the coaching staff who have managed to put me in the best position that I feel effective. And also for all those who support us, the fans”, said Mirotic after being appointed with the award.

ACB also announced the All-First team of the season, which includes, apart from Mirotic, Facu Campazzo, Klemen Prepelic, Axel Bouteille and Giorgi Shermandini.

The All-Second team for the 2019-20 season includes Marcelinho Huertas, Adam Hanga, Alberto Abalde Diaz, Tornike Shengelia and Walter Tavares.
