The draw for the 2020 Endesa SuperCup that will be held in Tenerife has been completed and ACB announced the semifinal couples as follows:
Iberostar Tenerife – Real Madrid
TD Systems Baskonia – Barca
It should also be noted that, due to the rules, Baskonia and Real Madrid couldn’t face each other until the Final as the League and Cup champions respectively.
The SuperCup will be played out on September 12 and 13 and that will be the first official competition of the 2020-21 campaign in Spain.
As for the Endesa League, it will begin a week later, with the first Gameday being played on September 18, 19, and 20. The team lineup has stayed at 18 teams as it was voted for Gipuzkoa not to join the First Division.
