Barcelona found no serious resistance by Real Betis and proceeded to resume its Spanish ACB League activities with a blowout win.

Barcelona – Real Betis 82 – 53

Everyone contributed and no one needed to play too much ahead of the EuroLeague double-game week. It was the ideal scenario for coach Sarunas Jasikevicius that saw his players crush Real Betis at home.

Nikola Mirotic led the winners with 18 points in 15 minutes while Artem Pustovyi had 12 points and NBA Draft prospect Leandro Bolmaro scored nine points.  He was the only player along Sergi Martinez (four points, nine rebounds) who played more than 17 minutes.

James Feldeine led Betis with 15 points.

Fuenlabrada – Zaragoza 82 – 81 

Cristian Eyenga scored 2 points including the game-winning layup in transition (!) with a second left and grabbed six rebounds as Fuenlabrada beat Zaragoza. Obi Emegano contributed 19 points to the win.

DJ Seeley (22 points) and Jason Thompson (10 points, 10 rebounds) stood out from Zaragoza.

Manresa – Tenerife 80-88

Tenerife turned last week’s victory into a streak to extend its presence at the second position of the ACB League standings. Bruno Fitipaldo and Marcelinho Huertas paced the team to victory, adding 16 and 15 points respectively. Sasu Salin and Aaron Doornekamp had 10 points apiece.

Manresa’s Dani Perez added 16 points and five assists, followed by Seth Hinrichs who posted 15 points and seven boards.

Baskonia – Obradoiro 80-74

Luca Vildoza scored 19 for the winning side while Achille Polonara added 11 and Tadas Sedekerskis nine points.

On the other side, Jake Cohen logged 17 points and ten boards followed by Kassius Robertson with 15 points.

Unicaja – Acunsa 104-69

Five players scored in double-digits for the hosts with Dario Brizuela leading the pack by scoring 16. Francis Alonso helped with 15 and Adam Waczynski with 14 points. Tim Abromaitis had 11 points and 11 boards.

For Acunsa, Diino Radoncic scored 15 and Jaime Echenique 14 points.

San Pablo Burgos – Estudiantes 91-71

Jasiel Rivero led Burgos to their third straight win with a 20-point performance that went along with 7 boards. Vitor Benite followed with 16 points and Miquel Salvo added 12 points. Thad McFadden completed the list of top scorers with 10 points.

Alessandro Gentile paced the visitors with 16 points, Aleksa Avramovic tapped 14 points, Victor Arteaga had 13 points and five boards and Alexandar Cvetkovic finished with 11 points.

Bilbao – Murcia 63-73

Murcia bounced back from a two-game losing streak on the road, as Conner Frankamp posted a game-high of 23 points. Emanuel Cate added 12 points and six rebounds and Jordan Davis followed with 10 points.

Jaroslaw Zyskowski led all Bilbao scorers with 13 points and Jonathan Rousselle had 11 points.
