As Real Madrid entered its Liga Endesa Round 23 game vs. Estudiantes, Pablo Laso tied the record set by Lolo Sainz for most games at the helm of the Whites with 734.

Sainz has reached this achievement when he left the bench in 1989, after 14 seasons with the club, while it took 10 seasons for 53-year-old Laso.

Laso counts 399 games in the Spanish Liga Endesa, 25 in the Copa del Rey, 16 in the Super Cup, 292 in EuroLeague and 2 in the Intercontinental Cup, with over 77% of wins and with 20 titles won as coach of the Whites since he first joined the Spanish club in 2011.
