According to Mundo Deportivo, Valencia will file an official protest regarding the refereeing in the match against Barcelona, in which Alex Mumbru’s team lost 75-81, despite a 15-point lead.

Mumbru was not happy with the work the trio of Antonio Conde, Alfonso Olivares, and Raul Zamorano did during the match.

Valencia feels that the calls weren’t balanced and that there were different criteria in the referees’ decisions, which affected the final result.

No, I’m not happy with the refereeing, but we don’t have to talk about it,” Mumbru said after the match.

The club has prepared an analysis of the referees’ decision and will submit it to the league.
